Friday Night "Try It" Wheel Throwing at SE
For those of you that just want to dip a toe, get a refresher, or try it out--here is your chance! This one-time class is perfect for those not ready to dive into a long-form class quite yet, but want to experience throwing on the wheel. You will learn the basics of wheel throwing and you will be able to take home your finished piece a few weeks after class.
After class, we will trim your pieces and glaze them in one of three colors of your choosing. Your pieces will be ready for pickup 6 weeks after the date of your class.
This Class Meets One Time on Friday Evening from 6-8 PM at The Mud Room SE: 2011 SE 10th Ave.

This course will be taught by Sadie Lorenz.
A little about Sadie:
Sadie is a passionate ceramic artist with a strong background in both study and assistant teaching at the University of New Hampshire. With five years of dedicated practice, she is eager to share her experience with The Mud Room community! Throughout her ceramics career, Sadie has held various roles, including assistant teacher, glaze technician, kiln manager and studio assistant. These experiences have deepened her love for pottery and fueled her excitement for creative growth!
Sadie's teaching style centers on the creativity inherent in pottery. She focuses on the basics of wheel-throwing while encouraging exploration and play, allowing students to learn through hands-on discovery and creative expression. With her cheerful and supportive approach, Sadie aims to inspire a love for ceramics and empower self-expression within her classes.
Cancellation Policy: If you need to cancel or reschedule, please let us know 2 weeks before the date of your class. Within these two weeks, we are not able to refund your order or reschedule your spot to a later date for any reason, including illness.
We understand that sometimes things happen, however, we are unable to recoup the expenses of empty spots in our classes. If you're unable to attend, you can always transfer your registration to friends or family, and send us their name and contact info.
If your teacher has to miss class, we will do our best to find a substitute teacher. If there is no substitute teacher available we will reschedule the class for a later date.
We only run this class if more than 4 people sign up. If we need to reschedule your class, we will email you with as much notice as possible, and offer a variety of available dates.
This class is open to anyone 16 years of age and older, or 13 years of age if accompanied by a guardian.
