Mother's Day Workshop - Coil Building Mugs!

Mother's Day Workshop - Coil Building Mugs!
Join us for a hands-on workshop to learn all the basics of coil building and create your own unique mug! You’ll learn how to roll perfect coils, join them seamlessly, and shape and refine your mug. This workshop is a wonderful introduction to handbuilding, giving you the skills to start (or refresh) a pottery practice that you can continue at home or wherever you work with clay!
At the end of class, you’ll choose from 3 beautiful glaze colors, and we’ll take care of glazing and firing your pieces. Your mugs will be ready for pick up 6 weeks after the workshop.
No prior experience with clay is required! This workshop is perfect for beginners who want to learn coil building or anyone looking to share a fun and meaningful experience with friends or family.

A little about Danielle:
Danielle first learned ceramics while at Roger Williams University and then honed her craft through mentorships and self exploration in her home studio. As a teacher, she brings the experience of a potter who has shown her work in galleries, sold pots in markets all across New England, and has a true passion for the craft.
Danielle's teaching style follows the fundamental skills while pushing each individual towards achieving their own personal goals. She brings an open mind, friendly demeanor, enthusiasm, and an adaptable teaching style to her classes to meet students where they are. Danielle hopes to inspire creativity and foster community within her classes and believes that the most valuable pottery education comes from community studios much like The Mud Room.
