Ready to dazzle with your handmade accessories? In this playful workshop, you’ll create your very own buttons, beads, hair clips, and charms! This is your chance to transform clay into stylish, one-of-a-kind embellishments that will show off your personal flair. Whether you're a seasoned crafter or just dipping a toe in ceramics, this workshop is fun and approachable for all skill levels. We'll guide you through the basics of slab rolling, sculpting and underglazing, and share tips on how to make your creations truly stand out. 

Imagine the thrill of seeing your handmade buttons on your favorite jacket or your unique beads strung into a stunning necklace! The possibilities are endless. 

This is the perfect workshop to attend with a buddy or two! Your pieces will be ready to assemble four weeks after the class, and we will meet for an hour to do this together! (Note, your pieces will not be ready by Christmas)

Location: The Mud Room North (1831 N Killingsworth St). Please note the location, as we have two studios. 

This class is taught by Adria Standeven.

A little about Adria: 

Adria has been a member of the community at The Mud Room North since its opening in October 2021. She loves the mindful messiness of working with clay as a means to connect and to expand artistic expression. Adria is an observant, enthusiastic teacher who strives to create a warm, calm and welcoming environment. She values teaching why something works and adapts to her students’ learning styles to offer varying communication and instruction. Adria is delighted to work alongside new ceramicists and introduce them to The Mud Room community!

Cancellation Policy: Please let us know 2 weeks in advance of your class if you’d like to cancel. If you cancel with fewer than 14 days left, unfortunately we cannot give a refund. If you have to miss class due to COVID we are not able to offer refunds or credits. If your teacher has to miss class due to COVID or otherwise, we will do our best to find a substitute teacher. If there is no substitute teacher available we will reschedule class for a later date.
